Last night at Babu-G

Went to our favourite local restaurant to celebrate Miss L's singing exam result and my parents' arrival in Scotland, only to find that it's closing on Monday. Only once before have I been so disappointed that a restaurant is closing. So, I had my last lamb biryani under a pasty cover. Went to thank the chef and to ask where he'd be cooking next! Such a shame that it's not sufficiently appreciated in Penicuik, which retains its rather staid Indian restaurant with obsequious owner.
