Easter Bonnet

I know it is still a week away but today the twin's Easter bonnets for school had to be submitted, they have both worked very hard on these over the past week and I think they did a fantastic job.

Tonight bonnets were replaced with hockey helmets as the twins played an in-house match at the club. Mimi was asked by her coach to play for the "REDS" as their net minder failed to appear, she happily obliged but as well as the net minder it seemed the defense were also AWOL.

Fraser was outstanding and scored a genuine hat trick with three straight goals, the first even though I am biased was a stunning solo goal having picked up the puck in his own defensive zone and he went the full length of the ice before slotting it home passed his twin sister!!! In fairness to Mimi it was such a good finish she had no chance.  At the final buzzer her coach skated over to her and told her how well she had played and saved her adopted team from a hiding, the final score 5 - 3. Fraser was man of the match and seems to have accepted the move from defense to playing center by playing superbly.
