Shopping With Trepidation

There is only so much chocolate a little girl can eat. Like her daddy, my darling can take it or leave it and in previous years we ended up having to give eggs away before they went out of date. Now we have an agreement in the family that we keep the egg count down to a manageable level. I therefore despatched myself to purchase an Easter present.

It was whilst on this solo mission that it occurred to me that the days have well and truly gone when whatever I purchased for my darling was accepted without criticism. So I've gone for this ensemble and will have to wait for Easter weekend to find out if it passes muster.
