Normal Cumbrian service is resumed

Woken by rain in the night - its was still going strong when we finally got up. The glorious weather of the last week has gone - Cumbria has returned to type.

If I've been in to Kendal & I have pooch with me I'll often stop by Birk Beck to let her have a swim - its a nice gentle beck with some lovely pools - usually. Today however it was truly raging - it looks as if some of that bank is going to go - and I wouldn't be surprised to see the trees follow.

I did stop (wasn't too keen to park on the water logged verge) and open the boot & offer to take pooch for a walk - but she wasn't keen and we only went a short way.

Still - got lots done round the house, yawn.
