Yarn bombing....

.... in Bantry! The Rabbit Hole Project  has been busy making Bantry look more colourful than ever and guerilla knitting has cropped up all over the place. I rather liked these very phallic looking bollard cosies - just for you Red Flash!! 

As I was inspecting the knitting a cacaphony of car horns heralded the arrival of a wedding party - the long cavalcade of cars progressing twice around the square all horns blasting in traditional manner!

A great night out last night in Ballydehob with De Dannan who were in fine form, several members of the band having got seriously lost on their way and only arriving at the last minute. The sean nós dancer was still on his way as the concert started - it took him and his family 6 hours to get down from Connemara, but he managed to produced a blistering set.
