Moth Balls and Football
With British Sumertime heading this way theoretically at least, old fishing buddy Kempy and I are planning our first-ever Riverfly Invertebrate Sampling session on the Wharfe at Buckden tomorrow. All being well this will followed by a first Dales river fly fish of the year as well, and somewhere downstream of this. Bound to be a full English breakfast and a pint somewhere along the way tomorrow (but not at the same time I hasten to add).
Preparation for all this heady pleasure was in order today then, and I enjoyed a perfect storm of tying some 'March Brown' wet flies whilst simultaneously watching Football Focus.
MrsB would have had a fit with the combo of the whiff of Moth balls protecting all the feathers in my flybox and football on TV, but that cat is away....
