Urban Expression

I love all types of cycling but BMX is my favourite to watch. It was cool when Sam at the BMX centre asked me to take a pic of the Urban Expression graffiti wall for some media stuff.

Stuff like Urban Expression is just as important as Olympic programmes, as it it more relevant to the things loads of kids like in East Manchester...BMX, urban music and graffiti.

A wee word on Sam.... I knew him as a chilled out nice guy who rode a BMX...but not until recently did I know how good he is..... a flatland BMX World Champ not so long ago. A wee clip of him is here.

I'm very chilled tonight as we did a 90min meditation thingy.....yike....I was gurning like a weirdo afterwards!

The pic was incredibly difficult to take as the light was challenging and I was using my 50mm prime with flash @ about 20 metres....to make it worse, there were pillars and stuff in the way meaning it was difficult to frame. I'm pleased with the outcome though.
