Poppadoms for tea

Well its been an enlightening day today. I've done something I probably wouldn't have done normally. The result was not really what I expected or wanted but its given me answers to questions I didn't have a clue about. So now we make do with what we have, make the best of a bad job and thank our stars for what we have.

There so now you're all wondering!

It's my car. I do not like it. I don't like all the baggage that came with it. In that I mean the way I felt the sales person sold me the car. They didn't really legally do anything wrong they sold a car which was their purpose, and I bought one which was their purpose, they saw me coming, not once but twice so I will no longer be using that garage. They have lost my custom but not only mine my daughter and son will also be driving in a couple of years so, sorry garage we are going elsewhere.

Back to today, I took my disliked car to see where I can go from here, it smells too, sort of old smoke and a mans 'off' aftershave or deodrant if you know what I mean. It does have some good features like cruise control, sensors when reversing, tinted rear windows, oh and the sony music system, so its not all bad.

Whoops back to today! The new car I saw was not new but would be new to me, it stunk of dogs! And had scratches on the inside of the door where poor little smelly dog or dogs has tried to get out. The salesman told me that this is clearly not the car for me. He spent time to work out the maths to see if I needed a petrol or deisel, we established deisel. He worked out price per gallon of both petrol and deisel. He was very good and then took my details of my car. He went away to get a price for mine and told me he wouldn't sell me a car on the figures we had. He said to keep mine, its not a bad car, and he wouldn't see me in a position where I ended up in a black hole of negative equity. He advised me he probably wouldn't have sold me this car and would have said to keep my other, I wish I'd gone there first as advised by a family member.

So, as I didn't, I now have a car I don't like and nothing I can do financially for a little while. So thankyou Gordon at Toyota for being honest and giving me some options to think about in the future. I am now going to thank my blessings I have a car I can afford, I'm going to get it cleaned and tell the garage I bought it from it stinks, ( car and garage! ) and I'm going to learn to like it. I am going to get rid of my negative energy towards this poor car and enjoy its positive features.

The photo! Absolutely nothing to do with my car but we did have poppadoms for tea.
