Daphne, I think

A lot of rain fell during the night. A strong wind has been blowing up during the day and there have been several rain showers. I have felt a bit lacking in energy today and apart from half an hour's weeding and a few rather uninspired photographs ( I wasn't really in the mood if I am honest) I spent most of the day indoors.
Hl was at a gathering of her flower essences group the other day and was given a sprig of this winter flowering shrub which is now in a vase on the mantelpiece. I believe it to be Daphne but am hoping Tony G will call by and offer a more specific name for it. It is a shrub I would like to grow, less for it's modest but charming flower than for its delightful scent.
