Inchewan Burn

Decided to see if my legs could cope with parkrun this morning, which they did in a better time than expected.
However, I did pass on the Birnam Hill Race which Mr Rat did - it starts uphill and gets steeper for over a mile before easing off and then a final scramble to the top and down. Instead I went for a walk up the Inchewan Burn which was looking beautiful as the sun came out and lit it up. The walk then went out of the woods and in a loop past fields with lapwings and then back round to the burn - 5 miles in all. I also found a waterfall I didn't know was there.
Plenty of photo opportunities along the burn and in the open country.
Daughter and family are staying for the weekend, they've been away all day house-hunting.
