Gifts for Daddy

Got up early today to play. Baby was feeding so I told Daddy we couldn't go downstairs without him. Played trains and Lego, drew pictures and wrote Daddy's birthday card, then Mummy took us to the hiding place (new wardrobe) and we fetched the cakes we'd made for Daddy. Baby followed us, bringing - unbidden - some of the biscuits! 
We had soup for lunch which I had to eat (I do, I like it, Sam I am) to get one of Daddy's treats.
Watched TV in the afternoon and played snap with the cards Mummy found whilst tidying the cupboard. 
Mummy and Daddy were supposed to be going out, but they cancelled, so we played jumping on Mummy, ate chicken and potatoes with vinegar, then I fell asleep before I could have another treat.
