The old and the new..

under one roof.  The church we sang our concert in this evening was Norman.. and completely wonderful to sing in.  I think we sang a good concert to a slightly smaller audience than we have been used to recently but that is because there were so many events (concerts) on in the local area all competing for attendance.  We sang a very varied programme titled Sing Around the World. Everything from an old Irish skipping song to the Volga Boatmen . to Japanese poems set to music by a local musician/composer... Anthem from Chess and Cantique de Jean Racine among others.. all good fun and my Brazilian is improving too !!
