The Great Survivors

It never cease to amaze me how plants can flourish in the most unlikely
places . This bridge ( seen from the window ) has become "home" to so many . How they manage to grow and spread is beyond me .One can only speculate how long it would take nature to claim buildings if they had a chance .Think of that marvellous book . 'The Day Of The Triffids '
The above specimens may not be high in the league of horticultural beauty but for me they have a wild charm ......They survive where so much fails ..
