Look who I found!

There's a 2 mile trail that makes a loop near here.   In one direction you walk along a (frozen) lake, in the other direction you come up to a river first.  I had in mind that I'd go the direction of the river, since we've seen ducks there very often in the evening and it seemed like a good blip opportunity.  Hubs and Piper decided to take off in the other direction to give me time to shot undisturbed for a while before meeting up.  (Nothing like a dog to scare away the birds...) :)

Well, the ducks weren't there tonight... They must have heard that I was hauling my gear into the woods along an icy trail... *eye-roll*
So I kept on walking  and eventually met up with the rest of my gang.  It was funny... Pipe didn't recognize me at first and stopped to stare at me like I was a stranger, then she caught on and charged forward. :)

She's cuter than a duck anyway. :)
