The Harvest

While most of the population are glued to the TV watching the World Cup cricket final between the Aussies and the Kiwis, the Maize harvest has begun.
The contractors will be working all through the night in fairly damp conditions to finish the cut, because this morning we woke up to heavy, heavy rain which was steady for the first part of the morning. Since then we have had sunshine and showers. 
The Farmer is HAPPY (lying on his couch, watching the tele).
