Battered!!!!

It was our club walk today, and we had a terrific trip on the coach up to Killin, stopping at Callander for our usual coffee break.  The wind was very strong when we got to Killin and our walk was up Glen Lochay, which was like a wind tunnel.  So we got battered all the way, and at times it was difficult to keep our feet.  Lunch was in a disused sheep barn, and we were very grateful just to get out of the wind for a wee bit.  On the way back down the glen the wind was at our backs so we got blown down.   More photos here

Had an hour in Killin and a group of us headed to the Killin Hotel for drinks and chat.  They have a lovely large 'conservatory' area, which is very bright and we enjoyed looking out at the hills with their light frosting of snow.  And we enjoyed being out of the wind!!!!!
