Solea Valley

Having spent the night in Larnaca and settled into the Brewery for a few drinks we headed off this morning for a stroll around Nicosia/Lefkosia, the most interesting part of this inevitably being the green line. The area of no mans land between the Turkish and Greek sides of Cyprus.

After this we headed towards the Troodos Mountains for our first walk... A short one to acclimatise and get to know our fellow travellers. Always an interesting experience.

Today's walk took us through the Solea Valley from Asinou to Agios Theodoros. The weather was a mix of sun and showers.

After this we headed up mount Olympus to be met by snow and fog. Here we've settled for the night at The Jubilee Hotel. Probably means last refurbished in 1977.... It's warm though
