Cormorant or is it a Shag

Spotted this when walking, it is not too sharp as it was taken with a 600mm lens on a monopod.

This is the Swan Pond at Culzean Castle Which is owned by the National Trust for Scotland.  It is south Ayrshire - Burns country.

In Burns day this large estate and all the countryside around was owned by one family.

AS Robert Burns wrote 'The sun it o'er hangs yon moors outspreading far and wide , where hundred labour to support some haughty lord lings pride'.
