Egging on

When I was a kid, eggboxes would often contain both brown and white eggs. Then, something happened and until last weekend I'd not seen white eggs for years. Now they're back, and most tasty.

EdiSteve tells me Americans just won't buy brown eggs. Can that be correct?

I don't care about the colour. So long as there aren't bits of feather stuck on the shell, eggs is eggs.
