Monkey puzzle tree

At breakfast this morning the other members of our party reported having spotted 'a tree full of dead teddies' when they returned from the pub last night. The birthday girl led me to the evidence just before we headed home to Edinburgh, and I share it here.

It's been a great weekend, although last night at the pub I started to feel a little unwell (Mr hazelh and I left early), and by this morning I definitely had the sniffles. Very soon after we got back to Edinburgh today I made myself a Lemsip and sent myself to bed, where I stayed most of the afternoon. I'm hoping that I'm not suffering a cold, but from an allergy. Gbees has suggested that the B&B chintz might have been to blame ;-)
