Daddy's Girl
Thanks for all your words of advice yesterday, we're still hoping Daisy will settle and we've got her until next weekend to see how things go. At the moment I feel a little anxious about a few things, but she's such a lovely girl. She a lot more settled than she was yesterday, but she's very nervous and won't go out into the garden - although we've got gale force 7 winds at the moment, so it's not really surprising, and she's very jumpy when she hears things she's not used to.
My other concern is the boys, as they've just started to be really calm, and their house training is great so we're worried about them taking a step back, but on the whole everything is ok.
Elaine was a little worried that people would wonder why she was being re-homed, as she loves all her dogs. But she has 8 dogs and can't keep them all. Daisy & Mimi (her sister) have had 4 litters and she feels that the time has come for them to find their forever homes where they'll be loved and get the fuss they deserve, and as you can see Alan and Daisy have bonded quite well!
Anyway, it's time to take the pack out for the walk, regardless of the wind!
Hope you've had a good weekend!
