Local Landmark

This is the Linton Watertower from a westerly viewpoint. 

We had a powercut this afternoon which was annoying but did mean that the children surfaced from their virtual worlds and had a chat. Alf actually read the paper.

I thought it was a little ironic that we have a massive windfarm a couple of miles away and yet a bit of wind and the power goes off. So I went out to take pictures. Unfortunately the wind was blowing the wrong way so the turbines were facing the to the west and the picture did not work.

So I turned round and took this.
