Sentimental sort out.

Today we finally got around to sorting out some of the boys bits and pieces that they have had since they were very little and we no longer need. This included their beloved book case which has way too many books that they have outgrown and we needed to make some much needed space for their new phase of reading.

I always find it difficult to let go of their books that they have had since very young as they are always connected to so many happy memories. Although, I did come across a few that were associated with sleepless nights or times when they were poorly and just needed to be cuddled up with a fav ted and book. I have been very sentimental and kept a handful of my favourite ones ( soppy me!) and we will give the others to charity so hopefully other children can have some enjoyment from them:)

Having a good old sort out does mean we have made a nice bit of space to fit another storage unit into. So, a trip to IKEA in the week to buy another storage unit or maybe Homesense is on the cards:)) So, guess it does have its positives:)
