Flower bed

We're quite pleased with this small flower bed - lots of spring colour.  The bulbs were a bit slow to come through this year - they were only planted during the autumn and winter - but as they get established, we should have a good display of snowdrops, aconites and crocus.

Then a variety of heucheras for the summer.

And I've planted some standard trees in it to give it height.  I'd quite like to plant some ivy to clamber up the fence, but we are not sure whether they would be too vigorous and take over.
