Horse trading

Greetings from Co Kerry, where Mme Tepeka, the boy-child, girl-child and I have decamped after a last-minute decision to attend the Ull Conference.

It's a tech conference sort of focussing on Apple stuff, but not really, and this year it's housed in the Europe Hotel, just outside Killarney. The hotel is very nice, and the kids are in heaven at the thought of swimming pool, horse-riding, tennis, etc, etc. The boy-child is even planning to come to some of the conference sessions with me, but we'll see how long that lasts...

This evening's picture is of one of the sculptures in the lobby bar. Be thankful - it was nearly a pic of my dinner (seafood platter. Delicious. Thanks for asking).

Hopefully the next two or three days will inspire proper photos of mountains and lakes, but there's a strong possibility that it'll be inside shots of lobbies and bars. Particularly if the weather stays miserable.

In any event, we're looking forward to a fun, informative and relaxing few days. Better than being at work...
