The Silver Spool Award

One of the gifts given to me by my lovely colleagues at the retirement party on Friday.  It's perfect as a keepsake to remind me of the olden days when we used to record and edit our programmes on tape - I absolutely love it!  When it was presented to me, I joked that our Heritage Machine in Workshop 60E is probably now missing its take-up spool.  I must remember to go and check tomorrow before I leave the building for the last time as a member of staff.

My personal version of a silver disc will now take pride of place on my study wall.
