Mono Monday - Pattern

I was going to put a traditional Maori pattern in for this challenge and went to the gardens in the city to snap the carved figures and the Kowhaiwhai patterns on the little fences at the entrance to the gardens.  Driving home I saw this house.  In the past it has been a restaurant but I don't know what it's purpose is now.  It appears to be under repair.  I admire the craftsmen who created the wooden decorations on the exterior.  So I changed my mind and this is my blip today.
