Home at last

Twenty hours after departing Edinburgh, I'm finally back in sunny California.  I'm pleased I am as it would appear that the wee lady has been very smiley in my absence.

That said, apparently it's quite a challenge to get the wee lass to laugh. She'll find something amusing once but, if we try the same trick again, she's bored! It hasn't stopped us, however, making lots of silly sounds and faces over the last two weeks in a desperate bid to hear her chuckle. Nothing quite as addictive as a baby's chuckle.
