Storm

Having realised my life revolves around my job (haha! such insight!), I was pleased today to have a blip, taken during the day, that was not in any way connected with my job or travel to and from my job.

I was taking Belle to be groomed in Mirimar, and on the way there, noticed the cloud in the hills around Lower Hutt. I thought there was a chance I could capture the drama on my way back.

And so it was. Around 15 minutes later, I was driving back through a sudden hail storm, the temperature dropped 3 degrees in about 30 seconds and it was all on.

So - this is the Hutt, taken from Oriental Parade, on a stormy winter's morning.
