Old School

Mum and I visited her old primary school this evening as it is moving to a new building, so the old one will know doubt be sold off to the highest bidder and demolished to make way for "progress". It was good to hear mum reminisce about her days here over seventy years ago, where she had lunch, who the teachers were, where her first P1 class was and who used to teach her. Much had changed, (well you would hope so!). I must confess I think she was the oldest in the building but hey we had a good laugh, looking at the old photos and reading the old reports. Good luck to Lairdsland Primary School, Kirkintilloch in there new building.
