Street Scene

We were taking Cosmo for a walk this afternoon along the former Deeside railway line. The original railway bridge is long since demolished. About 15 years ago a new bridge was built over Holburn Street connecting the railway footpath over the street.

I use the word "footpath" loosely here. It is used by bicycles and even the occasional horse. When walking with Cosmo it is necessary to have eyes constantly looking behind for fast approaching bicycles, so far no incidents, but it is not terribly relaxing. We don't want either Cosmo or ourselves to have an incident with a bicycle.

We only met a horse once on the footpath. Cosmo has met horses on a previous occasion and is not very interested.

I read on one of the notices that Holburn Street is aimed after the similarly named area of London
