Helmet Head

Our 17 month old has the will of an OX... or DONKEY depending on the day : )!
He is focused and head strong and very determined... a real HELMET HEAD as our older son calls him! Wonder where he inherited those traits from???

We woke up feeling brave today and decided to go climbing with friends that have a son the same age as our youngest. It's always more wishful thinking than realistic since most times it ends up in tears and tantrums and we do more running around than climbing... but we persevere, convinced that ONE DAY it will work out!
Today turned out to be one of the better days! Luckily the crag we were at today was full of geckos, dirt, stones and sticks - the perfect combination to keep the 'Toddler Dream Team' well occupied for the afternoon. But the winning element of the day was Xavier's new red helmet. Normally we have to wrestle any kind of hats on both kids, but for some reason the boys found hours of pleasure in taking turns swapping and stumbling around with the over-sized helmet on their heads.
