Brimstone Moth

Found on our landing window.  We get a multitude of moths during the warmer months flying in through the open window and this is the first.  The species feed on Sloe bushes and Hawthorn of which there are many in this area.

N and I went out for a meal with friends A and J after J's hospital appointment.  It was a disaster for N as he is now on a low fat diet and there was not much choice!  He asked for boiled potatoes to go with his meal and they served them chopped in butter!
