Opening move

For Mono Monday  'Patterns',  #mm61, hosted by Chantler63, with many  thanks to her for supplying the themes and hosting throughout March.

Today also saw the start of a 7 week Dutch challenge course in Photography, with the first challenge 'start'. I've been thinking all day, started with breakfast images, then captured some of the lilac buds and then went on to look for patterns and saw this. Father-in-law did a lot of traveling in Africa for his work and brought back several wood inlay works, like this chess board. The pawns btw are Balinese woodcraft.
