Beautiful Melverley church, Shropshire.
Built in 1406, of timber, wattle and daub, it was built to replace an early wooden church burnt down by Owain Glyndwr. It sits on the bank of the river Vyrnwy-( which is growing very quickly at the moment following a good weekend's rain fall.) It used to flood the church, but in the early 1900's the sides of the river were strengthened to help prevent flooding- this appears to be working well, thank goodness
