Thinking about it

Last year I blipped my fully blooming magnolia in early March.  The buds have been looking as though they are about to open for a few days now.

A dry start to the day, and perhaps a little less chilly, but the magnolia steadfastly refuses to spring into glory.  Surely it can't be long now.

I had a lovely day catching up with the family  news and eating wicked cakes in Thornton's at McArthur Glen (midway between Leeds and the West Midlands and a great excuse to stock up on nice stuff from the outlet stores).
