It may look like spring....

....but that cold wind feels like winter. It was very breezy this morning, so not an ideal situation in which to photograph delicate blossoms as they were moving around so much.


Today parliament was officially dissolved as members hit the campaign trail in the run up to the elections in 38 days time. It will be an interesting election and could go either way, probably resulting in another hung parliament. Luke will be voting for the first time and I hope other newly eligible voters bother to cast their votes, as we all should. I feel quite strongly about women voting when you consider how hard the suffragettes fought to get the vote, and how some places still exist in the world today where women cannot vote.

And was there a woman in the UK who went to bed last night and did not dream of Ross Poldark?
