Anvil Stones

These stones were placed in the early 1900's as a tribute to the "bitties and tackies" of Bloxwich, who made needles and awl blades for the local leather industry.  The area has long been known for its leather and saddle making skills.  These stones were used in individual little workshops at the back of the workers homes
