at Wern Watkin. Worth getting up for even if the group who planned to leave at 0700 were still thinking about breakfast at that point. Met them again later on top of a hill, moving quickly and in good order. An enjoyable day, with an interlude at Hay on Wye (only three books bought) and another in a wifi-and-jasmine-tea cafe at Crickhowell.
