A Favourite Watering Hole & Birds Of No Feathers !
Monday began with lovely sunny weather .Out for lunch to my favourite watering hole at Castlefield ."The Wharf " where food is well prepared and always a joy to eat .One can sit by open fires too . Very cosy. The walk there is 4 minutes at most along the towpath .Swans , geese and ducks are always around and on the look out for tit bits . It was another kind of bird that caught my eye though .This beautiful gleaming brass goose poised on a narrow boat . After lunch I made my way to the Rylands Library on Deansgate . Only to find a huge yellow duck settled on the pavement. Note to Beewriter ..Too big to take in the bath !! A nice ,colourful start to the week .
