Peace reigns

Flo and I had lunch in town today, then browsed, then coffee, then home to the sofa to watch an afternoon film.

We left it til the very last minute to get to Chippenham for her train and then she accidentally emptied the contents of her large bag onto the floor of the car!! The train ticket to Paddington had seemingly disappeared into thin air.....

Thankfully, we found it in the car door pocket and she made the train by the skin of her teeth.

Clive has been in London today so I am now waiting for his train to come in.

Just to continue this year's cheerful vein, Ken, my immediate neighbour died today. He was a month younger than dad. He fell on Christmas eve and has been in hospital ever since. I shall miss him too. :(
