Not meant to be here...

I should have been on Islay tonight , holding a surgery , meeting the Community Council and attending the launch of the Islay 3x8 exhibition which Was displayed in the Parliament in 2013 and which is now up in the Gaelic Centre in Bowmore.

But the combination of some sort of bug which has laid me low and a dreadful weather forecast meant that I didn't make the ferry and instead spent the day in an increasingly wet , windy and mist shrouded Glendaruel .

At least I managed to catch up with some email .
