Gig weekend gig 2 - The Filthy Tongues at Cabaret Voltaire
Went with old friends to see another old favourite group in a new form. The Filthy Tongues are old Edinburgh band Goodbye Mr MacKenzie minus Shirley (Manson of Garbage) and Rhona.
They played some new stuff and some old MacKenzies greats - another trip down memory lane - this weekend has reminded me how great Scottish rock music was in the 90s and it's been great to see the passion is still there, both from the crowds and from the musicians themselves.
