Wet!

So we went to bed last night and it was pouring with rain, and we woke up this morning to, yes you've guessed it rain! Didn't bode well for skiing, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when we had gone up a cable car and a chair lift, to find there was actually quite a bit of snow. That said, it was 'stickier' than usual and the biggest problem we came across today was the wet. As it was raining/sleeting all day we got absolutely drenched.

After ski lessons had finished, we had complete melt down from the little ones until we managed to get some lunch into them... they didn't like being so wet, but who does?! They calmed down over lunch but were still adamant that they weren't going skiing this afternoon. So Vicky and I took them home on the bus. Only slight flaw in our plan was that we forgot that the buses didn't run for an hour just after the lunch period!! Time for a vin chaud for us and a hot chocolate for the boys... and all was well with the world.

When we did get back to the chalet we all jumped into the hot tub in the rain. The kids loved it!
