Architects and engineers
Spent lunchtime touring Glasgow Central Station with Vic, who was a great guide.
We learned the stories behind the colours of the gates, the city under the station, the ghosts and the duelling gentlemen of platform four.
Most of all I liked the way he set the whole enterprise of making the station as a joint endeavour between the architect and the engineer.
The engineer ensuring that it would work, do the job. And the architect ensuring that the people flowed like water and that the station made them... Feel.
As a team with a bit of an endeavour of our own, it seemed to be a good lesson.
