On top of the world...

..or Melbourne at least. We finally made it to the Melbourne Star and even though it's just a 30 minute trip once around the wheel and it's far from cheap, it was very enjoyable. More so than I expected. I must get a polarising filter for my kit lens... the reflections were really unavoidable without one  (that's a reflection of N). It was surprisingly quiet for the Easter holidays – we got our own cabin and there were no queues. 

This is looking North towards our house – about 25km away. There was a lot of smoke (from burn offs), so it was too hazy to even see the hills. We got a 'Night and Day' ticket, so we will come back for a night ride within the next 30 days.
