The ferries are off which means no bathroom floor today, fingers crossed they can reschedule soon. It's cold and windy, certainly an ideal day to go climbing apple trees. John was feeling slightly agitated and decided to prune the apple tree which last year produced a pretty blossom but as usual a Mediocre apple.

The bark on this tree was damaged a few years ago by deer, we didn't think it would survive however it continues to play a part in the bird life and John's acrobatics. I sent a similar picture to J brother who - in his usual sardonic way - asked if he should be up there at his age.
