Forth and Clyde Canal at Temple
Today has been so wild - more like January with sleet, gales and even snow, although you wouldn't think it from this photograph. This is one of today's fleeting sunny interludes looking towards the swing bridge at Temple that carries the constant traffic from Anniesland to Bearsden and Milngavie, and then on to the north. Dominating the scene are the two defunct 19th century gasometers that were amongst the largest in the country which still tower above the houses of Kelvindale. I like the dog walker on the jetty adding a focal point of interest in the foreground.
