Mary Queen of Scots

..had her head chopped OFF!

We used to play with these plants as children - each of you would wield one of them in your hand and one would shout "Mary Queen of Scots had her head chopped OFF!" and on the OFF, swiped their plant at the friends, the aim being to cut the head off the flower. A bit like conkers but without the risk assessments and safety equipment. :-)
