Ziggurat

We were planning to have that day out to make up for the one I didn't have on my birthday. However the forecast was for high winds and we decided it would be no fun having a day out if we were going to be blown off our feet.  Not only was it windy but wet at times as well.

I had to go out to post some letters so braved the wind for a short while. The ziggurat in the centre of Stokesley has been planted up with spring flowers and was looking particularly lovely. This ziggurat replaced the old one a couple of years ago and was made especially to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
